Wave after wave washes
Over fallen houses built on sand 

Sorrow upon sorrow surges
Into salty tears that join the sea

Comfort, comfort your people father, 
As a tsunami of prayer moves eastward 

Strength upon strength, let this nation rise,
Rebuilt on the rock of Christ.
